Jackie S. Shields

Jackie, a Montana Attorney, was born and raised in Lewistown, Montana. In 1995, she received her Bachelor of Science degree with high honors and a double major in psychology and sociology from Montana State University-Billings. In 1999, she received her law degree from McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific in Sacramento, California.

Jackie was licensed and began practicing law in California until returning home to Montana in 2004. She has been practicing law in Billings, Montana since 2004 and was licensed in Wyoming in 2005. Jackie is also licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of California and the District of Montana. Jackie is a member of the California State Bar, Montana State Bar, Wyoming State Bar, American Bar Association and Yellowstone Area Bar Association.

During law school, Jackie was a governing board member of a non-profit clinic practicing family law, landlord-tenant law and bankruptcy. She then began practicing with a firm that handled general civil litigation, including contract law, real property, personal injury, commercial law and estate planning.

Personal Interests

Jackie and her husband, Tony, have three children-Dylan, Tyler and Zoey, and she also has two stepchildren-Jade and Zachary. Jackie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and stays busy attending her kids' sporting events. In what little remaining free time she has, she also enjoys camping, fishing and skiing.
